Engineer® NZ-05 SMD Chip Cutters

The Engineer® NZ-05 are precision cutters designed for removing unwanted components from SMD and through-hole PCBs, making de-soldering and PCB pad clean-up easier.

They are ideal for cutting D.I.P. and S.I.P. leads on densely populated boards, as well as removing chip resistors, ICs, and other SMD components.

The cutters feature ESD-safe thermoplastic elastomer (TPR) handles with strap holes for comfortable and secure handling, along with a coiled spring for smoother operation. An adjustable opening angle of up to 5mm allows for improved control, and a 1.5mm hex key wrench is included for adjustment and screw fastening.
